The Scrub Monashee takes all the great features from the Akashi Mountain Board, then adding a custom grab handle, lighter 12mm flow trucks and light weight tires, the Scrub Monashee Mountainboard is a great value freestyle mountainboard and landboard for junior or adult use.

The new Scrub Monashee uses a composite wood / epoxy deck, for better flex and pop. This makes the Monashee a fantastic freestyle / cruising / landboard, as well as being a great downhill mountain board.

The Scrub Monashee also has a brand new skate truck system. The Flow Truck incorporates a kingpin, which helps to eliminate speed wobble, while not affecting the turning radius of the board. Complete with hollow 12mm axle diameter trucks and a more durable 12mm channel (truck style) mountainboard bearings. The use of a 12mm axle offers increased strength and resulting in a board that is stronger while still retaining the light weight benefits of a (skate style) mountain board truck assembly.

At 90cm long, the composite deck makes the Scrub Monashee extremely maneuverable. Eight inch diamond tread tires are standard, giving reliable performance and traction in all landboarding conditions. The open tread pattern clears ground debris easily, combined with a smooth and narrow central ridge that increases high speed stability and lateral forces against the kite.

The new and improved Scrub Velcro bindings offer a more secure fit for increased comfort and performance.
